DO NOT......ever......ever......hire a car from the airport!!!! Athens cars is the best car hire company I have had in the last 16 year. I just hired a Nissan Note from this company for around 480 Euros with no hidden charges and no extras, for that price I got a car and full insurance for two weeks. They do not need anything other than your driving licence and cash unlike the airport companies who hold on to your credit card details so they can charge extra when you have gone back home. The last time I hired a car from an airport I was told that I could not take the car I had payed for unless I took out their insurance even though I had my own. I took the car back with a full tank of fuel and they still charged me for another full tank and some of them also want a deposit. They are scam artists, the lot of them!!!! Athens Cars is top notch and for that thank you very much, I will definately be back.

7 years in a row we have booked at AthensCars for 3 weeks or more. Service was always very reliable, friendly and perfect. Shuttle service from office to airport (Chania) and vice versa is excellent. Offered price/performance is more than competitive. Next year we will choose AthensCars again.
