Over the years I have hired a variety of vehicles from Athenscars, and have always found them to be absolutely reliable. Having had pick up/drop off at several locations, including Chania and Iraklion airports and Iraklion Port, I have always found their staff to be helpful, efficient and polite.
Prices are extremely competitive, probably amongst the lowest on offer, but I have never been tempted to even consider the “opposition”, given the excellent service I have received. I would recommend them to anyone wishing to hire a vehicle.
We go to Crete 6 to 7 times a year since 2011. Every time, we rent a cabrio Jimny at Athenscar at Heraklion airport. We never had problems with this company. The right car is always ready when we arrive and the staff is polite and helpful. In addtion, thet are inside the airport which is not the case for every rental company.
