We were a group of 6 and when I enquired about a suitable car, I was told that tho the car was not on the premises, they could bring it over in minutes, which they did. The price was reasonable, much lower than other rental companies I approached and the service was efficiently quick and accommodating.

We were assisted by a very friendly guy (Manos). He gave us a nice price for the car and gave some tips for the island (Crete).

we rented a small van (VW Caddy, 7 seats) for 2 weeks in Crete. Athenscars had the best rate of all other car rentals I contacted. For even cheaper than the other companies, they offered full insurance coverage, baby seats and 2nd driver.

We took the auto at Heraklion airport (1 minute walk, just in front of the main entrance) and dropped it back at their office West of Heraklion because it was easier for us. They even drove me back to the city center.
