We stumbled upon Athens cars after getting off a ferry in Heraklion. The man who helped us was wonderful, and gave us some great tips for our trip in Crete. The car worked well and the drop off was easy. Loved that automatic cars were available and the small car was perfect for some of the narrow streets in little towns we visited.

We had a very good experience with athenscar in our last trip in Crete. The staff was kind, flexible and very responsive. We had a small issue with the gear shaft knob and they immediately changed the car. The car was very good and well maintained.they offer what they advertise, a truly carefree experience. We now have the rental company for our future Crete trips. Highly recommended.

Great service.. very very speedy service with no hidden extras. Within 5 minutes we were on our way with a fully fueled and perfect condition Dacia Duster which served 5 people and 5 trolleys and bags perfectly. Very economical car and high off the road. From ordering the car via email,including invaluable advice from Babis regarding what car to get, picking it up and dropping it off,payment (cash up front and no "hidden" extras etc.) everything was seemless. The staff were quick and efficient and I would highly recommend renting a car from them. I rented a Dacia Duster in great condition and it served us well. 5 adults,5 trolloys and bags.. no problems!
